Tablet Policy for School Labs

250 pesos ($20 USD) per tablet.
Upon receipt of funds, the KoC Treasurer will use appropriate accounting procedures to ensure that the deposit is attributed to the school(s) and funds are held in escrow
Deposit will be returned to the school(s) if they decide to return the tablet. The tablet does not have to be in working condition when returned in order for the school to receive their deposit back.

Tablet placement in a school is permanent - they are dropped off once we get the deposit. We felt there were too many logistical hurdles in picking up and dropping off the tablets to do a loan-type arrangement.
- If a tablet is lost or stolen, the deposit is forfeited. If a tablet breaks and school returns it to us, the school will receive the deposit back.
Schools can decide ahead of time to do a local rotation
- (e.g. 2 schools near each other can decide to share deposit cost and each school gets the tablets for 2 weeks at a time).
- Deposit agreement is the same
Up to 10-15 Tablets per school (including 1 for the teacher) based on KOC evaluation of the school's needs.
